The Career Pathways Partnership hosted the 2009 Innovative Education Expo at A-B Tech on June 15 and 16. About 70 local educators participated in the event. The Expo featured a tour of A-B Tech's small business center and incubator, entrepreneurship activities, and a DNA extraction interactive session in one of the college's biotechnology labs. Participants also heard about opportunities for students who would like to become entrepreneurs, and enjoyed a panel discussion with clients of the business incubator. In addition, there were tours of A-B Tech's main campus and interactive activities in the culinary, medical assisting, geographic information systems (GIS), and applied technology areas of the college.
